News

September began with fantastic news; Splice has placed 4th in 2019's Broadcast Tech magazine of the Top 10 Post Houses poll, voted by 126 production companies earlier this year. Thank you to all of our lovely clients who voted, we're over the moon with this recognition!

We would also like to wish a huge congratulations to Rogan Productions for being nominated at the 2019 Grierson Awards for Best Single Documentary and  Best Documentary Presenter for Stabbed: Britain's Knife Crime Crisis. We're so proud to have post-produced this programme and we're thrilled that it's getting the recognition it deserves.

This month we welcomed the return of Carbon Literacy Training at our Old Street facility.  Ran by Albert, BAFTA's industry sustainability scheme, this free one day course provides the TV and film industries with the skills and tools needed to lower their company's carbon footprint.
Sustainability is very close to our hearts here at Splice, and as an affiliate of Albert ourselves, we run all our facilities on British-sourced, 100% renewable energy.

So, what else have we been up to this month?

Post producing lots and lots of great television - Rise Of The Nazis for BBC Two, Celebrity MasterChef (Series 14) for BBC One, Abused By The Police? for BBC One, Prisoner's Wives: Visiting Hours for Channel 5, Adventures In Futureland for Channel 4, Salvage Hunters (Series 14) for Quest, My Greatest Dishes for Food Network, Festival Drugs: Meet The Dealers for BBC Three and last but not least Rose Plays Julie, a feature film which premiers this week on BFI London Film Festival.

And finally, this month's Employee of The Month goes to our Post Production Executive, Caroline Hewson. Caroline's unwavering focus on keeping projects on track, clients happy and ensuring everyone is supported could be recognised every month but this month, in particular, as we are celebrating her achievements in finalising delivery on a very special Netflix project. Congratulations Caroline!
