August for Splice, like for so many others, is holiday time, so lots of our team have returned from the bank holiday with gorgeous tans and ready to get cracking on making amazing TV.
This month, we've welcomed lots of new faces and it appears the future is female. Elizabeth, Senior Post Producer, and Mia, Post Producer, joined our production team, bringing with them a diverse range of experience and a lot of good vibes. Our new Hospitality Supervisor, Jacobi, has won the hearts (and stomachs) of the entire team with her amazing baking skills and quick wit. And Ilaria, our new Edit Assistant, was thrown into it with her first shift on bank holiday Monday but is already impressing all around her.
We've post-produced great telly too; The Festival That Rocked The World for Sky Arts, The Day Mountbatten Died for BBC Two, new Yesterday series Monster Ships and scripted comedy Super Unit for Punkanary and last but not least a promotional video for Chefs For Change, check it out here.
Employee of The Month goes to Jay for being an all-round star runner! He approaches everything that's thrown at him with a smile and his signature laid-back vibes and has done an incredible job at training our new runner team and making sure they've all hit the ground running (literally). Congratulations!
